Here’s a great way to light up a room or create a night-light when the power is out.  Simply place a headlamp over a milk jug with the light facing into the jug.  It probably won’t produce enough light to read by, but it certainly will give you enough illumination to enjoy a meal, or at least keep you from tripping over all of your other prepper gear.
